Sr. Cloud Engineer  ☁️

We are seeking a skilled Sr. Cloud Engineer to provide consulting, design, and implementation services for our clients. While the role primarily focuses on public cloud computing (specifically Amazon Web Services), the scope will range from information security to infrastructure (server, serverless, container) and specialized AWS services like Amazon Connect, Amazon Workspaces, and Amazon Media Services.

📍 Location: Remote / Hybrid in Bogotá – 3 days remote, 2 days in the office
💼 Contract Type: Permanent (Indefinite-term contract)
🌐 English Level: B2 – C1

Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Solutions: Gain an in-depth understanding of our IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings, which are based on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
  • Client Implementations: Implement new clients, ranging from rapid SaaS solution deployments to larger projects, including migrating client environments from On-Premise to the Public Cloud, managing existing cloud environments, or optimizing them.
  • Technical Expertise: Act as the technical subject matter expert, guiding clients through their implementations while contributing to the ongoing improvement of our products, services, and back-office operations. Support ongoing sales efforts through your expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced studies in Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • 3 – 4 years of experience in infrastructure, networking, servers, or security.
  • Proven experience with Kubernetes and cloud migrations (essential).
  • Hands- on expertise with a Public Cloud Provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtualization technologies like Xen or HyperV.
  • Proficiency in scripting with Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript.
  • Experience troubleshooting servers, storage, networking, and VPNs.
  • Familiarity with web servers (Tomcat, Apache, IIS) and databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to collaborate with senior-level clients.
  • Knowledge of SCRUM, GIT, and cloud management tools.
